Goals, Vision & Short Biography

Tim is a doctoral researcher, trying to make the world a better one. While pursuing this goal, he is working on the balance of social networks and their users’ privacy. Tim tries to convince data sponges on the topic data reduction and is working to provide alternatives in privacy-aware data collection. One core component of Tim's research is the analysis and development of efficient and anonymous communication techniques.His research focus is on anonymous communication in distributed systems and graph theory.

Besides working in the Doctoral College, Tim is participating in the Software Campus 2015 with his project KomBi and is part of the Smart Protection in Networks (SPIN) research group of the Telecooperation Lab (TK). Tim received his degree (M.Sc.) from the TU Darmstadt in 2014, specialised in distributed systems, networks and software engineering.
